Hi, I’m Pamela.

As a kid, I enjoyed diving into my own imagination as Alice in Wonderland, and I guess I’m not that different today. You can usually find me working away on a problem in my own head or on my laptop/phone/notebook (story-related or otherwise)—and forgetting to put away the dishes or switch the clothes to the dryer in the process.

Though I wrote my first novel with scented markers as a first grader, the path to completing my first manuscript was not exactly straightforward. Still, the voice in my head (or maybe deep in my soul) kept nudging me forward, urging me to write. I discovered that writing is as much about sitting your butt in the chair (or on the couch) and writing, as it is about following your muse.

That revelation was how I completed my first manuscript, Expert Players. I have since finished a second novel in the genre of women’s fiction with a sprinkle of magical realism. That novel, Skye, Revised, will be published in March 2024 by The Wild Rose Press. Read more about that here.

I am also a seasoned copywriter and journalist. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Creative Writing from Missouri State University and a Masters in Journalism from the University of Missouri. See some of my work here.

I live in the Kansas City area with my husband and two young children. Thanks for visiting!
